If you can dream about it, you can do it!

Today I got the great news I’m awarded as MVP on Microsoft Dynamics AX! Thank you, Microsoft for this recognition! I like to congratulate all renewed and new MVP’s worldwide. At Kaya Consulting we now have two team members recognized as MVP on Microsoft Dynamics AX.

My collegue Dick Wenning (also MVP) told me about community contributions, like blogging and answering questions. Then I started dreaming about becoming an MVP myself. I enjoyed answering questions, writing blogs and providing feedback on the Microsoft Dynamics AX product. Totally unexpected I was nominated in August this year and had to provide information to Microsoft.

I had to wait until today and was very curious about the outcome. As I live in the Netherlands, the news came to me at the end of my working day at an exiting project. I shared the update with all of my colleages world wide and LinkedIn. I’m proud to be awarded as MVP!

Then driving home to tell it my family and follow the instructions in the received mail. Unluckily I had some traffic jams caused by the soccer match Ajax-AC Milan in Amsterdam. So I decided to boycot this match for this evening. 🙁

Now I finished the administration and completed the forms. A new experience as MVP will start from today. Thanks to those who nominated me. I already got a lot of congratulations. I will continue my effort to contribute and share my knowlegde. Watch the AX geekiness!

I’m working on a small gimmick and will share this soon on CodePlex.

That’s all for now. Till next time!
